This is a press release someone sent me, it's a bit hyperbolic and over-the-top, buit it's a show and someone reading this might be interested in checking out some of these bands.
On February 2nd, Black Market Records will be presenting some of the nation’s finest punk bands for a night of drunken dissent.
The many festivities on the night will include $5 Jagerbombs & a free BBQ.
Black Market Records are set to unleash Steppin’ Razor and Front Your Enemy upon Queensland’s Fat Man’s Cleavage for the 6th monthly PUNK ROCK EXPLOSION. They will join forces with 2by4, Sniperival, Doin’ it for the Money and Picton’s Strike First for this monthly occasion at the expense of your discomfort and delight, on Friday 2nd February, 8.00pm. The show will once again be held at LiveHouse (the Lewisham Hotel), prominently located on the corner of Parramatta Rd and Old Canterbury Road - a pub that may be the most breathtaking licensed late night live music hangout in Sydney.
Show starts at 8:00pm but we encourage you to arrive early as there will be striptease performances from 5:30-7:30pm, just in time for the happy hour (4-7pm, $3 schooners). Just the trick to get you horny for a nice sweaty, homoerotic, punk rock pit.
