Agents of Abhorrance are a grindcore band from Melbourne who formed as a two-piece in 2003, with Max Kohane on drums and vocals, and Benjamin Andrews on guitar. Grant Johns joined recently, taking over vocals duties.
They have toured Australia several times (once with American grindcore band Iron Lung) and recently finished a three-week tour of Japan. They have also just released a 3" CD.
Although consisting of only three members, these members have been in many bands, including Terror Firma, My Disco, Dying Breed, Headless Horsemen, ABC Weapons, Blarke Bayer, Far Left Limit, George W Bush, Clann Zu, Sense of Purpose and Heartfelt Self. Max is an incredible drummer and Agents of Abhorrance are worth seeing if only for his manic contributions to their short, sharp and chaotic songs.
