Badanga

Badanga were a melodic hardcore/punk band originating from Western Sydney. They formed in 2000 and split about three years after that. They put together only one EP... to be honest I'm not if it was ever released officially or anything, you can download every single track off various MP3 websites now that theyve all moved on to other things.

MEMBERS
Aaron - Vocals/Guitar
Ben Brady - Vocals/Drums
Joel - Bass
Dean - Guitar
Aaron was previously in The Hassle Brigade, and briefly played in Offset as well (when they were called Fuznut). I don't think he is currently in any bands. Ben Brady also played in The Hassle Brigade, Offset and most recently in Huntsmen (which he left around a month ago). Joel has played in the bands Ballpark and Taking Sides. Dean was previously in Detox Unit, and I don't know if he has played in any bands since Badanga.

Drinking from the Cup of Champions (2002) EP
I'm not completely sure why they came to an end (they shouldn't have, they were a great band - great songs and very energetic and funny on stage), but bassist Joel did have this to say, "We were too ugly for the pop punk kids, and not hard enuff for hardcore kids".
