The Knives of Neptune are a Melbourne-based band who formed in 2003. They are influenced by bands such as Cave-In, At the Drive In, The Mars Volta, The Nation Blue and Refused.
They originally had a stand-alone vocalist by the name of Matt, but he left in late 2004, along with the band's original keyboardist, Stuart. Wayne, along with the band's new keyboardist Panag, stepped up to fill the vocals gap.
Wayne and Corey previously played in Fallopian Tube, and Panag was previously in the band Entropy. Panag and Aidan play in Mondo Cane, and Panag is also in Fesper Jastinence.
The Knives have toured throughout Victoria, NSW, ACT, Queensland and South Australia and are currently gearing up to release their first album.
