Save Some For Daddy are a three piece band who originated from Western Sydney (Penrith to be precise) some 6 or so years ago. They used to be called Slavegrinder, and changed their name to Save Some For Daddy (SSFD) in 2003. They play a kind of old school party punk rock mixed with trashy rock and a bit of rappishness. It's hard to describe... sometimes they just sound punk, other times they do latino rapping and cock rock.
CURRENT MEMBERS
Pablo - vocals, guitar
Steve Austin - bass, vocals
Allan - drums
They started as a three piece called Slavegrinder, playing Misfits covers and offensive punk rock. They had a different drummer named 'Stixx' to begin with, who also did some vocals. When they became SSFD, they got Allan onto the drums and Stixx became the band's main vocalist and did some percussion. Eventually the others in the band kicked him out, just after recording a properly produced EP, which subsequently never saw release due to the booting of Stixx from the band.
When I asked the band about Stixx they emailed me with this, "Stixx is the ex-member, he turned to god and makes chrisitian music and he can be found in Paddy Maguires Karaoke room every wednesday. (Actually he cant, he got banned last week)"
